Happy and sad at the same time.
I will start a new job soon.
I have been looking for a job since I moved to Tokyo and, after a considerable amount of stress and disappointment, I have finally accepted a job offer. Although nothing is finalized, I will probably start working after golden week. It is a programming job, a topic I love more than all else, so I am very excited. This is very happy news for me and my family.
That means that April is the last month that I will be holding English lessons. Unfortunately, I won't be able to continue my English lessons and work a full time job at the same time. Therefore this news is also sad.
There is a perfect word to describe the feeling of happy and sad at the same time: bitter sweet.
I want to thank all of you for supporting me. I hope I get a chance to talk to some of you this month. Even if not, you are always welcome to stay in touch and send me a message any time. I will keep this website up and perhaps even continue writing blogs... as long as there is something interesting to write about.
I am starting a new phase in my life but I hope that sometime in the near future our paths might cross again.
